He completed his PhD in 2013 from the Department of Economics, University of Peshawar. The area of specialization in his PhD is human capital investment. He is teaching econometrics, Statistics, International Economics and Mathematical Economics to Post graduate, Graduate and Undergraduate levels. He is Coordinator BS (DS), Member of the GSC Department of Economics, Member of GSC Department of Political Science, Member of Semester Disciplinary Committee, Department of Economics, Member of Board of Studies Department of Economics, Member of Board of Faculty, Secretary ASRB Sub-Committee-I (FoSS), Member of Research Advisor Board at PIDE, Member Advance Studies Research Board Qurtaba University, Member Advance Studies Research Board, Department of Agriculture Economics, Agriculture University Peshawar and Member Board of Studies & Research CECOS University.
He has supervised 5 PhD students and 40 M.Phil students (27 in University of Peshawar, 04 MS scholars in CECOS University Peshawar, 03 M.Phil Scholars in Qurtuba University Peshawar, 06 M.Phil Scholars in Bacha Khan University Charsadda). He has published 42 research papers in national and international impact factor journals recognized by HEC. He is having 17 years university teaching experience and 21 years teaching experience including both universities and colleges.
He participated as paper presenter in national and international seminars. He also arranged many national seminars and workshops in the Department. He is working as reviewer for many national and international journals. Currently he is working as Treasurer, University of Peshawar.
